General Mills is seeking a .NET or PL/SQL Developer who will be responsible for the development and support of a custom Trade Management application.  Why do we say “or?” We’re looking for a rock solid coder in one or the other, and will train in the one you don’t have! Of course, if you have both, all the better!!

This system supports the funding, planning, control and payment of all of General Mills U.S. Retail Sales trade spending during each fiscal year, and the selected candidate will work in a dynamic environment with Sales (the end business users) first hand to design and implement the latest enhancements to give them a competitive advantage in their roles.

 The team leverages the following core technologies .NET, Business Objects, PL/SQL, Oracle, XSLT.

 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 In this role you will: 

  • Understand business requirements and apply sound technical solutions to develop, implement, and maintain transactional and reporting systems
  • Build and apply strong technical skills while providing consulting expertise and leadership, utilizing standard GMI application development tools.
  • Provide project management leadership as well as consultative expertise on the wide range of applications within Retail Trade.
  • Provide timely, personal, and efficient response to user problems and inquiries.
  • Create and deliver creative solutions that minimize support and are sustainable

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in CIS (Computer Information Systems), Computer Science, or similar
  • 5+ years’ experience with .NET and/or PL/SQL 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Experience with Business Objects universe development, or willing to be trained.

General Mills is seeking a Manager of Social Engagement and Brand PR to lead the development of PR and social engagement strategies for key brands and campaigns, and oversee execution of those strategies. Serves as the primary liaison to the Integrated Marketing Communications team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will:

– Lead development of PR and social media strategies, including integration across disciplines
– Represent Brand PR and social engagement practice on IMarketing Communication teams
– Oversee voice/tone/character and editorial calendar for social engagement
– Provide risk mitigation and crisis communication counsel
– Recommend and supervise external resources, including agencies and freelancers
– Manage work of assigned staff and support development efforts
– Monitor issues and trends and recommend appropriate actions
– For PR and social engagement activities, evaluate impact, maintain budgets, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Social Media or related field
– 7+ years of applicable experience.
– Significant experience in public relations, including advanced understanding of public relations function, the media and consumer product marketing; and social media space, including populating Facebook and Twitter feeds, influencer marketing, and creating assets for distribution on social media platforms

– Creativity – contributing effective campaign ideas and strategies

Do you like cars?  I mean REALLY like cars?  General Mills is looking for a Manager, Fleet Financial Services to effectively manage the financial assets ($34MM) of the General Mills fleet program along with the development, forecasting and tracking of related fleet budgets – both within Corporate Services and for key customer groups. Customer service is of the utmost importance!!
